Professional email for the business side of your practice
Licensing boards, liability insurers, CE providers and billing services all expect a professional address. FutureMail gives your practice one on your own domain. It doesn't sign HIPAA BAAs, so client communication belongs in a HIPAA-compliant client portal, and we'd rather you know that up front.
Works with a domain you already own. One price for your whole team.

Why FutureMail works for therapists
A boundary between work and home
Licensing, insurance and vendor mail goes to your practice address, never your personal one. When you close the laptop, practice mail stays in its own inbox.
Reply on your schedule, deliver on theirs
Catch up on Sunday evening and schedule replies for Monday at 9am, so colleagues and vendors aren't left wondering whether you work weekends.
Your mail isn't the product
FutureMail never sells your email, never uses it for advertising and never uses it to train AI models. Mail travels over TLS between servers that support it.
An address for each part of the practice
Use hello@ for professional inquiries, trainings@ for the talks you give and admin@ for licensing, all in one inbox. A catch-all picks up anything sent to a mistyped address.
Group practices without seat fees
Five clinicians and an office manager pay the same $20/month as a solo practice. Everyone you invite can see every mailbox in the workspace, so invite with care.
A record of account changes
Roles control who can manage the workspace, and the audit log records changes such as invitations, role updates and new domains.
Agent-ready
An assistant for the admin side only
If you use an AI assistant, give it its own inbox for practice admin, with a key that can only open that mailbox. Keep anything client-related away from it.
- List continuing-education certificates and conference receipts as they arrive
- Pull renewal dates from licensing board and liability insurance emails
- Summarize the week's admin mail so it doesn't eat into session time

Common questions
Can I use FutureMail to email clients?
We don't recommend it. FutureMail doesn't sign HIPAA Business Associate Agreements, holds no compliance certifications and doesn't offer end-to-end encryption: mail is protected by TLS in transit. Even a scheduling email can identify someone as your client. Use a HIPAA-compliant client portal for client communication, and FutureMail for the business side of your practice.
Can colleagues in my group practice read my mailbox?
Yes, if they're in the same workspace. Everyone invited to a FutureMail workspace can see all of its mailboxes, and there's no private per-person mailbox. If a clinician needs a mailbox colleagues can't open, FutureMail isn't the right fit for it.
Do you read my email or use it to train AI?
No. Your mail is never sold, never used for ads and never used for model training. FutureMail has no AI built into the inbox, and an assistant only gets access if you create an agent inbox and give it a key yourself.
Can I send a monthly newsletter to my mailing list?
No. FutureMail is for one-to-one and transactional email, and newsletters or bulk mailings aren't allowed under our Acceptable Use Policy.
My domain came with my website builder. Will it work?
Yes. FutureMail works with a domain from any registrar or website builder that lets you edit DNS records. We generate the records and confirm when each one is live.
How much does FutureMail cost? Is there a free plan?
FutureMail is paid-only: Pro is $20/month and includes 50,000 recipients a month, unlimited domains and addresses, agent inboxes, the API and MCP server. There is no free tier or trial. Limits are hard caps, so there are never overage charges and no per-seat pricing. Charged in USD; Stripe may show your local currency and add applicable tax. Need more volume?
