Freelance email that looks as good as your portfolio
Clients judge you before they open your proposal, and a free webmail address undersells the work. Put hello@ your own domain on your site and invoices, keep every client thread in one fast inbox, and pay one flat price.
Works with a domain you already own. One price for your whole team.

Why FutureMail works for freelancers
Win the pitch before the call
A proposal from nina@ninaokafor.design reads like an established practice. FutureMail sets up DKIM, SPF and DMARC on your domain so it lands in the client's inbox rather than their spam folder.
A plus address for every client
Give each client a plus-address like projects+acme@. The To line shows which account a message belongs to, and one search pulls up every email on that project.
Invoices stop getting lost
Send invoices from invoices@ so payment confirmations and remittance notes collect in one place, separate from feedback threads. Tax season becomes a single search.
Work late, send at nine
Finished the revisions at midnight? Schedule the email to arrive in your client's morning so you look organized instead of overworked.
An inbox that keeps up with you
Keyboard shortcuts, threaded conversations and Gmail-style search mean you clear client mail in minutes and get back to billable work.
Room to grow into a studio
Bring in a subcontractor or a part-time assistant without paying per seat. Pro is $20/month flat, however many people you invite.
Agent-ready
A first pass on new inquiries
Give an AI assistant its own inbox with a key that only reaches that mailbox. Through the API, the fm CLI or MCP it can read what arrives and prepare drafts, and you decide what actually gets sent.
- Pick out project inquiries among vendor pitches and receipts
- Pull the budget, deadline and deliverables out of a new brief
- Draft a polite reply with your rates and availability for you to edit

Common questions
I already bought my domain on another site. Can I use it?
Yes. Bring a domain from any registrar. FutureMail generates the DNS records with copy buttons and checks them live, so you can see when everything is working. We don't sell domains ourselves.
Can I bring my old freelance emails over?
No. FutureMail doesn't import mail from other providers, so your new inbox starts fresh from the day your domain points to us.
Can I read my mail in Apple Mail or Outlook?
No. There's no IMAP, POP or SMTP. You use the FutureMail web inbox, which you can install as an app from your browser so it opens in its own window.
If I add a subcontractor, can they see everything?
Yes. Everyone in a workspace can see all of its mailboxes, so only invite people you'd trust with your client mail.
How much does FutureMail cost? Is there a free plan?
FutureMail is paid-only: Pro is $20/month and includes 50,000 recipients a month, unlimited domains and addresses, agent inboxes, the API and MCP server. There is no free tier or trial. Limits are hard caps, so there are never overage charges and no per-seat pricing. Charged in USD; Stripe may show your local currency and add applicable tax. Need more volume?
