Cancellation & refund policy

Effective

The short version: cancel anytime, keep access until the end of the month you paid for, and take your data with you. This page summarizes the cancellation and refund terms in our Terms of Service.

1.Cancelling

You can cancel anytime from the billing portal in Settings → Billing; no need to email us. Your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.

2.What happens after your plan ends

  • Sending stops at the end of your paid period.
  • Incoming mail to your domains is still accepted for 7 more days, so nothing bounces while you move your MX records.
  • Your mail and settings stay readable and exportable in the app, over the API and with the CLI for at least 30 days. After that we may delete them.
  • Resubscribe anytime before then to pick up exactly where you left off.

3.Refunds

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. We don't refund partial months, unused recipient allowance or downgrades, except where the law requires it. We may refund at our discretion, for example for a duplicate charge or a renewal charged after you tried to cancel. Email support@futuremail.dev with the details and we'll take a look.

Accounts terminated for violating the Acceptable Use Policy are not refunded.
