Start with founders@, grow into an email API
On day one you need founders@ and hiring@ on your domain. A few months later you need password resets, receipts and inboxes for your AI agents. FutureMail is one account for both, so there's nothing to migrate when the product ships.
Works with a domain you already own. One price for your whole team.

Why FutureMail works for startups
A real domain before the first pitch
Investors and early hires notice a gmail.com address. Bring your domain from any registrar, copy the DNS records FutureMail generates, and watch them verify live.
A shared inbox for the founding team
Route hello@, founders@ and invoices@ into one mailbox so neither co-founder misses an intro or a bill. Operators like from:, has:attachment and newer_than:7d find things fast.
Product email is already set up
When you ship, send sign-in codes and receipts from the same domain through the REST API, the fm CLI or the Resend-compatible endpoint, with templates, idempotency keys and a delivery timeline.
Inboxes for your agents
Building with AI agents? Each one can get its own mailbox, address and API key scoped to that mailbox, and connect through the remote MCP server or REST.
Hire without a per-seat bill
Your tenth hire costs the same as your first. Pro is $20/month flat, and owner, admin, developer and viewer roles plus an audit log keep access sensible as the team grows.
Keyboard-first for busy founders
Clear the morning's mail with shortcuts, keep drafts going between meetings, and schedule follow-ups to land during the recipient's working hours.
Agent-ready
From inbox to agent workflows
Create an agent inbox with fm agents create or POST /v1/agents and your agent gets an address plus a key pinned to its mailbox. It can sign up for tools, catch the verification email with wait_for_email and read the code from extracted.otp.
- Sign up for a vendor trial and confirm the verification code
- Triage hiring@ and summarize new applications for the founders
- Star standout applicants so the founders see them first

Common questions
Can we start with team email and add the API later?
Yes. The same Pro plan covers the web inbox, the REST API, the fm CLI, the MCP server and agent inboxes. Create an API key when you're ready to send from your app.
Can we email our launch announcement to the waitlist?
No. Announcements to a list are marketing email, which the Acceptable Use Policy doesn't allow. Use a newsletter tool for launches and FutureMail for conversations and product email.
What if we outgrow 50,000 recipients a month?
Limits are hard caps, so you're never billed overage, but you can't send past the cap. If you need more volume, email support@futuremail.dev.
Does each co-founder need a separate account?
No. Invite co-founders to the team workspace as owners or admins. Everyone shares the same mailboxes, and there's no per-seat charge.
How much does FutureMail cost? Is there a free plan?
FutureMail is paid-only: Pro is $20/month and includes 50,000 recipients a month, unlimited domains and addresses, agent inboxes, the API and MCP server. There is no free tier or trial. Limits are hard caps, so there are never overage charges and no per-seat pricing. Charged in USD; Stripe may show your local currency and add applicable tax. Need more volume? Email support@futuremail.dev.
