An author address that belongs to you, not your publisher
Publishers change and pen names come and go, but your domain stays yours. Keep correspondence with your agent and editor, review requests and reader letters on your own domain, in one quiet inbox that's easy to search.
Works with a domain you already own. One price for your whole team.

Why FutureMail works for authors
Your address outlives any contract
Move to a new publisher or agent and your email doesn't change. Readers who wrote to you about your first book can still reach you at your tenth.
Manuscripts arrive safely
Edited drafts, contracts and cover proofs come in as attachments that are virus-scanned on arrival, and you can find any version later by searching for the file.
A separate home for reader mail
Put readers@ on your website so fan letters don't get mixed up with your editor's notes. Answer them when you have the energy, not in the middle of a deadline.
Pen names in one place
Add a domain for each pen name, route the addresses into one mailbox, and reply from whichever name the sender wrote to, with its own display name.
Write now, send in the morning
Answer your editor at two in the morning and schedule it for office hours. Drafts save as you go, so half-written replies are there when you come back.
Your mail stays your mail
FutureMail never sells your email, never shows ads and never uses your messages to train AI models. Unpublished work never becomes training data.
Agent-ready
Help with the business side of writing
Give an AI assistant its own inbox with a key limited to that mailbox, then connect it through MCP or the API. It reads the admin mail so you can spend the morning on the book.
- Collect festival dates, fees and travel details from event invitations
- Summarize the week's reader letters so you can choose which to answer
- Draft replies to review-copy requests for you to approve

Common questions
Can I announce a new book to my reader list?
Not through FutureMail. Bulk email and newsletters are against our Acceptable Use Policy. Use FutureMail for one-to-one replies and a newsletter service for announcements.
Can I have separate addresses for my pen names?
Yes. Domains, addresses and aliases are unlimited, so each pen name can have its own domain and address, all landing in the same inbox if you like.
Can my assistant help with my email without seeing everything?
No. Anyone you invite to your workspace can see all of its mailboxes. If you want to keep some mail private, don't invite others into that workspace.
Does it work with Apple Mail on my laptop?
No. FutureMail has no IMAP, POP or SMTP. You write and read in the web inbox, which you can install as an app from your browser.
How much does FutureMail cost? Is there a free plan?
FutureMail is paid-only: Pro is $20/month and includes 50,000 recipients a month, unlimited domains and addresses, agent inboxes, the API and MCP server. There is no free tier or trial. Limits are hard caps, so there are never overage charges and no per-seat pricing. Charged in USD; Stripe may show your local currency and add applicable tax. Need more volume?
