Let your AI assistant work through your inbox
FutureMail doesn't build in an AI. It gives the assistant you already use, Claude or any MCP client, a controlled way into your mail through a remote MCP server and an API key you choose. Or give the assistant an address of its own, like assistant@, so people can cc it.
Works with a domain you already own. One price for your whole team.

Why FutureMail works for AI assistants
Works with the assistant you already use
Add https://api.futuremail.dev/mcp to Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or another MCP client with a Bearer key, and it can list your inbox, read threads, search and reply.
Ask questions of your own mail
Ask what the accountant said about the third quarter and the assistant runs search_emails with Gmail-style operators like from:, after: and has:attachment, then reads the thread to answer.
Read-only if you want it
Give the assistant a key with only the read scope and it can triage and summarize but never send. Move to a send key when you trust it, or pin the key to a single mailbox.
An address people can cc
Create assistant@ as an agent inbox. Clients and colleagues cc it on threads, and your assistant picks the mail up with wait_for_email or a webhook and acts on your instructions.
You approve what goes out
Have the assistant write replies in your chat and send them with reply_to_email only after you say yes. Everything it sends sits in your Sent folder in the web inbox.
Your mail isn't training data
FutureMail never sells your email, uses it for advertising or uses it to train models. What your assistant's provider does with the mail it reads is governed by that provider's terms.
Agent-ready
A morning triage routine
Each morning, ask Claude to call list_inbox for unread threads and read_thread on anything from clients, then give you a summary with suggested replies. You edit and approve, it sends with reply_to_email, and update_thread archives what's done.
- Summarize everything unread since yesterday, most urgent first
- Find the latest contract a client sent and quote the renewal terms
- Write a polite decline to a meeting request for you to approve

Common questions
How do I connect Claude to my email?
Create an API key in Settings → API keys, then add the remote MCP server at https://api.futuremail.dev/mcp with an Authorization: Bearer header. In Claude Code that's one claude mcp add command with the http transport.
Can the assistant send emails without asking me?
Only if its key allows sending. A read-scoped key can list, read, search and wait for mail but can't send, which is a good way to start.
Does it work with my Gmail or Outlook account?
No. The assistant works with mail hosted in FutureMail on your own domain. FutureMail doesn't connect to Gmail or Outlook accounts, import old email or offer IMAP.
Can the assistant manage my calendar?
No. FutureMail is email only, with no calendar. The assistant can read and reply to meeting requests by email, but it can't book anything through FutureMail.
How much does FutureMail cost? Is there a free plan?
FutureMail is paid-only: Pro is $20/month and includes 50,000 recipients a month, unlimited domains and addresses, agent inboxes, the API and MCP server. There is no free tier or trial. Limits are hard caps, so there are never overage charges and no per-seat pricing. Charged in USD; Stripe may show your local currency and add applicable tax. Need more volume?
